Unfortunately an unsatisfactory visit. Unfortunately the food was not good. Sour carrots and or sprouts in the salad, generally too much vinegar. The steak was tiny and couldn't have been any drier. It looked like it had been pre-fried or just thawed. The complaint was listened to and a schnapps was put down (whether we would like one was not asked, but still a nice gesture). Card payment does not work. We had asked before dinner and then had to go after dinner to withdraw cash. Waiter just left when it didn't work and then just picked up the money. Ambience and space very pleasant and the waiter was alone, which is why there is a second star. I would definitely not recommend it at the moment, because the price-performance ratio is not right at all.

Great pub as a local that staff a little hidden the entrance. Excellent craft beer, hearty dishes and questions ...

I haven't been to the King of Flanders for a while. Unfortunately I am disappointed. The choice of food is poor, the menu rip-off. Carelessly arranged mini schnitzel for € 7.50 each. ? A standard 0.50l pale is not listed on the menu, but is brought when the order is placed without asking. The prices on the menu only refer to the size 0.33l. A nice trick by the host. The service was in a miserable mood. Let's never go back and everyone I know. What a shame, it used to be a cult bar in Augsburg. Probably not anymore, because there is a new concept and operator. ?

Turkey steak raw inside ?! Schnitzel too salty and meat not acceptable, service not on the customer's side.

Very great ambience. The beer tastes very good and is easy to drink. I was only very disappointed with the Käsespäzle. That was Späzle without cheese. It's a shame even though we have always been satisfied so far.

Too small schnitzel for adults, the service could be friendlier, especially if there are fewer guests, otherwise a rustic atmosphere. Overall verdict: expandable there is more in it.

The King of Flanders is a very good German restaurant. The dishes are really good, regardless of whether you order roast pork, knuckle or steak, the meat is always cooked to the point, tender and nicely juicy, just right for meat lovers. The spaetzle, which are served with plenty of gravy, are also very tasty. In general, the dishes are really generous, you get high quality food for your money, and not too little of it. The service was always friendly, but you have to expect longer waiting times at peak times. The atmosphere is pleasant, the restaurant is wonderfully quaint and cozy, but the background noise is very high when it is busy. Nevertheless, the König von Flanders is highly recommended, especially for fans of large, high-quality, classic German dishes.

The food wasn't the only thing that amazed us at this inn! Of course I like to try new restaurants and I am tirelessly looking for new places to eat, but I will remain faithful to this place. The decorations on the tables and in the entire place are reasonable and beautiful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the place gives a charming impression. There you get as well as: sympathetic and fast waiters. We think the prices are also completely ok.

Hearty or 'green' - deliciously prepared, beer platters to try the varieties, very friendly and fast service. Stop at a typical brewery with a rocking kettle and atmosphere. Gladly again.

Had dinner today for 6 at around 12 noon. Drink and food came quickly, was very warm, the bread that was served was still warm and very tasty. We got food at the same time and were very satisfied.

Yesterday evening spent a nice evening with friends here. The service was friendly and brisk. The food, Wiener Schnitzel delicious. I chose Kässpatzen as a side dish. Everyone at the table was satisfied. The beer is tasty and really good. We look forward to coming back soon!

Nice food portion sizes specifically considering the price. Nice location, a lot of menu options, we were really pleased with the food. Servers were keen to help us with our menu options. Freshly prepared meals made with high quality ingredients. You really can taste the quality, my sister and I were very impressed. We had been shown to our table straight away without waiting around.

We had a dinner in this restaurant on December 28, 2019. Everything we ordered was delicious. Very good roast with soft meat. Bratwürst with an exceptional flavor and delicious pork knuckle. While the bill is not at all high. All excellent!

Great beer, regular food, terrible slow service

It was ok and you get the typical Bavarian food in a typical Bavarian atmosphere that you expect. Mine it is just not so bad, but that's just a matter of taste. Food was (also typical) greasy, but delicious and the price really good. Friendliness was ok.

Restaurant has own brewery = make own excelent beer (also available to take away in special bottles). Together with beer there is nice selection of traditional bavarian food, all for good prices.

Warm and welcoming place in the cold August of January. Great beer and exquisite food. Very traditional and comfortable location. Open for lunch on New Year's Day, it was an oasis in the desert for us. We had a great time.

Really good beer and food. The service was quick with welcoming attitude. We even visited during happy hours and get the meals for 1/2 price ??? I really don't find anything bad here...

Great bar, great beer in the centre of Augsburg

A nice small brewery/restaurant in the middle of Augsburg. 3 beers on tap: helles, dunkel, hefe. All very basic and very Bavarian true to the original expectations. Would love to see an IPA, even a Citra Pale or East Coast IPA happen here. It's needed to balance the malt.
